Day One - Crocodile River, Gauteng, South Africa

I have set an intention to take a picture every day, for a year, of the river that has been such a part of my life since 1 April 1989.

I have drank from it, swam in it, been afraid of it, but always loved it all these years. And now I have to start taking my leave of it. New adventures await and we have to leave our piece of Paradise in the Crocodile River Reserve, Gauteng, South Africa. 

I feel that the letting go has to be intentional to do justice to the many years that the river was a blessing to me.
